COMING SOON - BLOGGIN' AT THE LAKE
We are going to leave the blogging to the inn's "Spokes-Creatures".

Rusty, the Junk Art Dog will become the inn's puparazzo and will report breaking news outside the inn.

Wanda, the "fantale" fish and our mascot, will reflect a fish-eye view of the inside goings on.

Duckworth, our well-traveled rubberduck will beam down eye-in-the-sky reports on seasonal conditions and events at the inn, Deep Creek Lake and around the region.
HOLIDAY DINNER WEEKENDS 2010
On most 3-day holiday weekends( 3 night stay required) we have dinner catered by Chef Pascal Fontaine of the Deer Park Inn. Here are the holiday dates for 2010 which will require dinner: February 14; May 30; July 4 (a cookout-not catered); September 5; October 10.


SUMMER SEASON AT THE LAKE POINTE INN
Our croquet court is up and "hitting"! The outdoor fire pit is used almost nightly. What a wonderful way to spend the evening after dinner, star gazing and/or having conversation with new friends.

If you need to relax, come our way:

Lounge in our lakeside hammock; Rock on our porch; or Catch some rays on a chaise lounge from our patio or dock; OR, Have our massage therapist soothe your stressed muscles.

If you need to get outdoors:

come jump off our dock (water is approximately 75 degrees); or, we've got canoes, kayaks and bicycles with recommended routes to travel; or Garrett County has plentiful state parks nearby to hike; whitewater rafting is only 25 minutes away on class 5 rivers!

Of course, we are always perfect for that romantic getaway to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays and special times.

In room fireplaces are NOT operational from June 21 to September 21.


UPDATED ROOMS AT THE INN
The McCann Suite is now sporting an additional window looking out over our patio and lake cove dock. We've also put in a KING SIZE bed.

The Friend room has been remodeled and now has a sunny reading nook overlooking the lake cove.
The new bathroom features a walk-in shower complete with 4 spray jets and two separate shower heads. This room is becoming very popular so book early!
